SHELLAC: La biografia
After {$Big Black}, {$Steve Albini's} first band, broke up at the height of their popularity, he moved on to produce stellar albums by {$the Pixies}, {$the Breeders}, {$Nirvana}, {$PJ Harvey}, and {$the Poster Children}, among others. After his second band, {$Rapeman}, broke up due to controversy surrounding the name, {$Albini} formed {$Shellac} with veteran producer and bassist {$Bob Weston} and drummer {$Todd Trainer}. After three seven-inch singles on Touch & Go, the band released an album, {^At Action Park}, in 1994. {^Terraform} followed in 1998 and {^1000 Hurts} was released two years later. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
