Finalmente è arrivato il momento di votare i tuoi artisti, canzoni e video musicali preferiti candidati agli MTV VMA 2023!
Ti basta andare su vote.mtv.com e scegliere chi vorresti vedere trionfare in ognuna delle 15 categorie gender-neutral, hai tempo fino al primo settembre.
Scopriremo insieme i vincitori nella notte tra il 12 e il 13 settembre durante la diretta degli MTV Video Music Awards 2023 dal Prudential Center del New Jersey in onda in lingua originale a partire dalle ore 00:30 con il pre-show e dalle 02:00 con lo show su MTV (canale Sky 131 e in streaming su NOW) e su MTV Music (canale Sky 132 e 704).

Ma adesso andiamo al sodo, ovvero alle nomination! Con otto candidature, Taylor Swift guida la lista degli artisti più nominati e potrebbe infrangere il suo stesso primato stabilito lo scorso anno, quando è diventata l'unica artista ad aver vinto tre volte nella prestigiosa categoria Video of the Year.
Seguono SZA con sei nomination, Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo e Sam Smith con cinque ciascuno), BLACKPINK, Diddy e Shakira con quattro ciascuno.
Presenti anche i Måneskin! Dopo la super vittoria come Best Alternative ai VMAs 2022, quest'anno sono in lizza nella categoria Best Rock con "The Loneliest".
Questa edizione degli MTV VMA ha già segnato un record: mai ci sono stati prima tanti candidati per la prima volta! Ben 35 artisti nuovi arrivati ai VMAs e con molteplici candidature, come Kim Petras con cinque, Metro Boomin e Rema con tre ciascuno, Ayra Starr, GloRilla, Ice Spice, Peso Pluma, Reneé Rapp e Yung Miami con due.
