Bastille
Le radici dei Bastille risiedono nella creatività del cantautore <strong>Dan Smith</strong>, il cui amore per suoni multi-eclettici ha portato alla creazione di uno dei suoni più interessanti del panorama musicale del momento: un pop che abbraccia diverse influenze, definito ma non 'categorico'.<br />
Cresciuto ascoltando <strong>Simon & Garfunkel, Beach Boys e Fugees</strong>, Dan Smith impara perfettamente l'importanza di melodie e ritornelli <em>catchy</em>, senza però dimenticare di inserire qua e là riferimenti all'arte, ai film horror e alla letteratura inglese.<br />
Nonostante i <strong>Bastille</strong> siano frutto della mente di Smith, sul palco la band è composta di quattro elementi tra cui <strong>Chris</strong> <strong>Wood</strong> (batteria), <strong>Will Farquarson</strong> (basso) e <strong>Kyle Simmons</strong>(tastiere). L'incessante alchimia tra i quattro crea un tappeto sonoro armonico e stimolante.<br />
La band ha una fanbase molto fedele che li segue fin dal loro primo show a Brighton nel <em>lontano</em> aprile 2011. Ora che MTV li ha scelti come band Push di marzo 2012, i Bastille sono pronti a esportare la loro musica in tutto il mondo!<br />
